Auto DJ uses the Timezone and DST offset selected in your Auto DJ Settings. With DST offset set to your region, the Auto DJ's clock changes with yours, and your scheduled events keep their times through the change. With it set to Disabled, the Auto DJ keeps the timezone's offset all year. Check the clock displayed on the Auto DJ pages before planning a scheduled event. Do not assume that it matches your computer's clock.

Set your time zone

  1. Open Settings in Auto DJ.
  2. Pick your Timezone by its standard (winter) offset, for example UTC-05:00 for New York or UTC+01:00 for Paris.
  3. If your clocks change for daylight saving, pick your region in DST offset, for example Enabled (North America) for New York. If your clocks stay the same all year, as in Arizona, Saskatchewan, Alberta or Queensland, leave it Disabled.
  4. Save your settings.

The regions offered depend on the timezone you pick. If DST offset can't be changed for your station, the Auto DJ keeps the timezone's offset all year: update the Timezone setting when your clocks change (for example, from UTC-05:00 to UTC-04:00 when clocks in New York move forward in spring).

Check your schedule's time

  1. Open Auto DJ and note the displayed time.
  2. Return to Scheduler and compare the displayed clock with the times, days, and date range of your events.
  3. If the displayed time is unexpected, ask support before relying on a time-critical schedule.

When the clocks go forward, an event set for a time that's skipped (2:30 AM, for example) starts as soon as the clock jumps. When they go back, an event set for a time that happens twice plays only the first time.
